A reminder to Dorchester residents - please have your house address numbers visibly posted to aid emergency services in finding you when you need them most!

Keep your driveways clear of snow and debris and make sure driveways are wide enough for emergency vehicles. Clear back brush, trees, and debris to ensure access and egress roads are open in the event you have an emergency. Help us to help you!

GENASYS Emergency Notification System

We are asking everyone in our local communities to enroll in the GENASYS Emergency Notification system.

It is absolutely free. GENASYS allows us to notify you in an emergency. Your home “landline” is already enrolled, but mobile devices are not. With the increased prevalence of mobile device-only homes, we need to be able to let you know if there is an emergency.

Be sure to also visit the ReadyNH website to learn how to prepare for emergencies.

Be ready when extreme weather hits! Visit the National Weather Service Storm Ready program to find out more: https://www.weather.gov/stormready
